FREEHOLD – The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office will have representatives available on Election Day to assist voters with questions or reports of voter fraud, illegal voting and voter intimidation.
Those who wish to report any issue of voter fraud or misconduct, can call the Monmouth County Hotline at 855-786-5878.
The state Office of the Attorney General will have deputy attorney generals available at the county’s Board of Elections headquarters, 300 Halls Mills Road, to provide representation on legal issues arising at the polling place throughout the county. The attorney general oversees the state’s Division of Elections.
Judges will be assigned to the board of elections headquarters to rule on whether a voter challenged at a local polling site may be allowed to vote. The judge, if persuaded by the voter, may order a provisional ballot or absentee ballot be issued to that voter, according to the prosecutor’s office.
