RED BANK – Detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and borough police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday evening on West Sunset Avenue.
Two victims, a man and a woman, were shot at approximately 8:30 p.m. while sitting in a parked car on the west side residential street, according to Police Chief Darren McConnell.
The victims were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, where, as of Friday morning they remain in critical but stable condition.
Investigators have not released the name of the victims or any other details as of Friday.
