RED BANK – Borough police have charged an Eatontown man with having sex with a minor in the borough earlier this fall.
Lanny R. McCall, 20, was charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old. The assault is alleged to have occurred in September on Maple Avenue, according to the police complaint submitted to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Freehold.
Police said McCall confessed during the course of the investigation to having sexual intercourse with the victim, according to the complaint.
McCall’s bail was set at $100,000 without the option to post a 10 percent bond, with McCall ordered not to have any contact with the victim as a condition of bail.
He is expected to have his initial court appearance on Dec. 12.
