The Two River area has been experiencing a drenching rain today. Flooding and road closures have made travel and work difficult for motorists and pedestrians.
High wind warning for the region and coastal flood watch for the threat of moderate tidal flooding are in effect for the entire coast area of New Jersey, Delaware and the Delaware Bay, according to the National Weather Service.
Storm watches are in effect for the northern New Jersey coastal waters for Tuesday with gale watches everywhere.
Precipitation is forecast for the region from the south Monday and continues through Tuesday before tapering off Tuesday night or early Wednesday.
Rainfall of more than two inches is possible and may lead to flooding even on roadways.
There is the potential for snow and mixed precipitation Monday night mainly north and west of the Interstate 95 and 80 corridors.

Northeasterly winds are forecast to increase to 10-to-20 miles per hour on Tuesday with gusts up to 25-to-30 miles per hours; depending on the track of the storm the wind could be stronger.
In areas prone to flooding, especially during high tides the public is being advised to move their vehicles to higher ground. Do not drive through floodwaters, as the water may be deeper than it appears and could damage and disable vehicles.
In cases of downed wires and power outages call JCP&L at 1-888-544-4877 and do not approach downed wires.
