1/30 – Middletown Women Charged with Shoplifting

HOLMDEL – Township police arrested a Middletown woman, charging her with shoplifting and conspiracy for allegedly obtaining refunds on items she never purchased.
Shannon M. Lecomte, 30, of Navesink Avenue, is alleged to have returned items she did not purchase between Sept.  29 and Oct. 16 to Marshalls department store, 2101 Highway 35, claiming not to have the receipts and having received gift cards for the selling price, according to the criminal complaint police submitted to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Freehold.
The store issued Lecomte gift cards totaling $1,608.43, according to the complaint.
