RED BANK – The borough water department is advising residents of East Lake Avenue, West Lake Road, Garfield Place and Rumson Place to boil their tap water before drinking it.
The department issued the advisory as a precautionary measure in response to a water main break that occurred on East Lake Avenue earlier today.
The department expects the advisory to be lifted within 24 hours.
