2/11 – RBR Culinary Club Holds ‘Hope is Delicious’ Fundraiser Tomorrow at JBJ Soul Kitchen

LITTLE SILVER – Red Bank Regional (RBR) culinary teacher and chef, Pete Roskowinski, and his culinary art students are busy preparing for their debut on Wednesday as guest chefs for the JBJ Soul Community Kitchen at 207 Monmouth St. in Red Bank.
During this special fundraising effort to benefit the Soul Kitchen and its mission, patrons will pay $25 for a five-course “Hope is Delicious” gastronomic event.  There are two seatings: 6 and 7:30 pm.
Reservations can be obtained by emailing Roskowinski at proskowinski@rbrhs.org.  Walk-ins are welcome but seating is limited.
The RBR Culinary Club “Hope is Delicious” menu will be:
Première –Paneed Parmesan Crusted Eggplant finished with Shrimp Mamou
Deuxieme – Big Easy Greens with Dried Cranberries and Pecans tossed with a Sweet Apple Vinaigrette
Troisieme – Lasagna Roulades Blanketed with an Andouille Bolognese
Quatrieme – Cajun Roasted Pork Tenderloins plated with Poorman’s Jambalaya
La fin parfait – Mrs. McVey’s Nearly Famous Key Lime Pie
The Soul Kitchen is a for-purpose community restaurant, where people come together to share a meal and support their community. There are no prices on the menu; patrons pay a minimum of $10 for their meal. If they are unable to donate, they volunteer as payment.
