FREEHOLD – Wall Township and county law enforcement arrested a Wall man on Monday for allegedly possessing and distributing illegal narcotics to juveniles and young adults.
Detectives from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Wall department arrested Gregory J. Reynolds Jr., 26, in a commercial parking lot on Highway 35 in Wall following a four-month investigation, according to Charles Webster, public information officer for the prosecutor’s office.
Authorities said, at the time of his arrest, Reynolds was in possession of more than 50 bags of heroin and other narcotics. A search of his home allegedly discovered cocaine, marijuana, prescription medications and a substance that authorities believe is “Molly,” an illegal drug, similar to ecstasy, Webster said.
Investigators charged Reynolds was responsible for selling drugs, predominately heroin, to young people through much of Monmouth County, Webster said.
Webster is currently being held on $160,000 bail in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.
