SANDY HOOK – A meeting of the Gateway National Recreation Area Fort Hancock 21st Century Advisory Committee will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, April 11, at the Chapel at Sandy Hook, Hartshorne Drive.
During the meeting there will be a presentation about restoring Fort Hancock which will include post-Sandy repair projects, an update on the progress toward the Request for Proposals (RFP) and an update on Gateway’s General Management Plan and how it will affect to the Fort Hancock Historic District.
As with all meetings of the advisory committee, public comments will be taken at a regularly scheduled time. The public comment period will begin at 1 p.m. Those who sign up to comment at the meeting will be called in the order they sign up.
