4/13 – Red Bank Railroad Crossing to Close April 24 for Two Weeks for Equipment Up Grade

RED BANK – The state Department of Transportation (DOT) has announced it will be closing the area of Monmouth Street and Bridge Avenue at the NJ Transit commuter rail crossing from 7 a.m. Thursday, April 24, through about 7 p.m. EWednesday, May 7.
The intersection closing is required while workers replace and upgrade equipment at the crossing.
Traffic will be rerouted in the area and detours will be coordinated with borough police.
Work is dependent on weather and the dates and time could change.
Announcement of any changes will be made public as soon as possible, according to the DOT.
