4/4 – Police Make Arrest in Red Bank Home Invasion

RED BANK — Police have arrested one man in connection with a home invasion robbery occurring on Thursday evening that left two victims injured, and continue to search for the second and possible third suspect.
Police received a report at approximately 11:25 p.m. of the robbery occurring at a St. Mary’s Place home. The investigation determined that two or three male subjects forced their way into the home armed with weapons and assaulted the residents, demanding unknown property. Two male occupants were able to escape by jumping from the second floor window, according to Chief Darren McConnell.
The two male occupants, ages 15 and 19, received head injuries and were treated at Riverview Medical Center, McConnell said.
Police arrested Vernon Reevey, 22, Tinton Falls, in the area of the home and charged him with attempted robbery, burglary, possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and multiple counts of aggravated assault, according to McConnell.
