RED BANK – Monday night will be a chance to see the owners of Sugarush compete on the Food Network show “Unwrapped.”
Chris Paseka and his partner, Jesse Bello, who own and operate Sugarush, a dessert bakery and café specializing in gourmet cupcakes at 37 East Front St., will be featured on one of the network’s latest in a string of reality/competition shows, airing at 8 p.m.
The show, “Unwrapped,” as Paseka explained it, has contestants “taking America’s favorite snack foods and turning them on their ear,” creating new recipes for the iconic and popular items.
On Monday’s episode, Paseka and Bellow will actually be competing against one another, Paseka said.
“It’s exciting to be selected from chefs and cooks from all over the country to be part of this,” Paseka said.
