6/26 – Monmouth County Grand Jury Indictments

FREEHOLD – A Monmouth County grand jury this week indicted Ameera Melvin-Fisher, 28, of Bay Avenue, Highlands, on one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. According to the indictment, Melvin-Fisher allegedly was found to be possessing heroin when she was stopped and arrested in Tinton Falls on Nov. 14, 2013.
David Horn, 24, of Spring Street, Red Bank, has been indicted by a grand jury this week on charges of theft of movable property, fraudulent use of a credit card and credit card theft.
According to the indictment, Horn allegedly used an illegally obtained Sears MasterCard credit card to access money, in excess of $500,  to make purchases at an area restaurant and to purchase items from the Amazon.com website.
John Lachky, 39, Monmouth Avenue, in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was indicted for forgery, falsifying records and theft of movable property.
According to the indictment, Lachky allegedly forged an annuity account withdrawal request to obtain cash in excess of $500 in Middletown, Union Beach and Long Branch on Sept. 6, 2013.
