The Red Bank Fire Department was on the scene within minutes and started an interior attack.Red Bank Fire Chief Tom Welsh put out a request for additional units from surrounding towns for more manpower. Middletown, Fair Haven and River Plaza fire departments responded with engines and firefighters.
As of 1:30 the fire dept. was still on the scene.
