7/18 – Police Charge Middletown Man Heroin Possession, Resisting Arrest

MIDDLETOWN – Police arrested Corey T. Diehl, 21, of Kentucky Avenue, on Tuesday, July 15, charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
Police found Diehl allegedly in possession of 14 wax paper folds containing heroin, according to the criminal complaint.
While being placed under arrest, police said Diehl allegedly struck Middletown detective Donald Coates with his hands and fists, causing minor injuries, according to the complaint.
Diehl’s bail was set at $55,000 without the option to post a 10 percent bond.
