7/20 – Poll Workers Being Sought for Elections

FREEHOLD – The Monmouth County Board of Elections is seeking poll workers for upcoming elections.
“Voting is one of the greatest privileges that we have as Americans,” Monmouth County Clerk M. Claire French said. “Poll workers are essential to the voting process and right now we are asking our Monmouth County citizens to be a part of this process and help their community exercise their right to vote.”
To qualify to be a poll worker, applicants must be a registered voter in Monmouth County and attend a poll-worker training class.
Poll workers will be compensated $200 for working a primary election or general election.
