8/31 – Middletown Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Police Executed Warrant

MIDDLETOWN – A township man has been arrested and charged with drug offenses, including possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, after township police executive a search at a Port Monmouth Road home.
The Middletown Police Detective Bureau and Quality of Life Unit executed the search warrant that was obtained as the result of a month long investigation into the sale of heroin from the residence, according to detective Lt. Stephen Dollinger.
As a result of the warrant, police arrested James Baker, 50, for possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, unlawful possession of percocet, unlawful possession of percocet with the intent to distribute, possession of hypodermic syringes and possession of drug paraphernalia, Dollinger said.
Baker was being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility on $60,000bail, set by Superior Court Judge Honora Kilgallen.
The investigation was conducted by detectives Keith Hirschbein and Anthony Dellatacoma and officer Donald Coates of the Quality of Life Unit.
