9/3 – Keansburg Man Charged with Drug Offenses By Middletown Police

MIDDLETOWN – Township police arrested a Keansburg man for narcotics and weapons possession Monday, according to a criminal complaints filed with the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police arrested Travis C. Erickson, 23, of Carr Avenue, charging him with possession of controlled dangerous substances that authorities say was cocaine and Ecstasy. Police also charged Erickson with possession of with intent to distribute and possession within 500 feet of a public park.
Erickson also is alleged to have had a Beretta 9 millimeter semi-automatic pistol and a combat-style knife with a 5 7/8-inch blade, according to the complaint.
Municipal Court Judge Richard Thompson set Erickson’s bail at $60,000 without the option of posting a 10 percent bond.
