MIDDLETOWN — Township police are investigating a traffic collision fatality on West Front Street on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:04 p.m. on West Front in the area of Harbor Green Circle, Robert Depalma 69, Monroe Township was riding his motorcycle eastbound on when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound looking to make a left turn onto Harbor Green, according to Det. Lt. Stephen Dollinger.
Police identified the driver as Daniela Coccurello, 23, a resident of the township’s Lincroft section.
Depalma was taken by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, where he was pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m., Dollinger said.
No charges have been issued but police are continuing their investigation and ask anyone with information to contact Corporal Darrin Simon at 732-615-2045.
