Ana Maria “grandma” Acosta, 80, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Ana was born in Moca, Puerto Rico, on April 16, 1936 to parents, Damasio Colon and Mina Roman Perez and was one out of 11 children. She was a retired seamstress of over 25 years and had a passion for cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Ana was predeceased by her husband, Joaquin Acosta. She is survived by her children, Milvian, Jack and Lisa, Tony and Evelyn and William; her grandchildren, Carlos, Michael, Milvian, Jack, Justin, Natalie, Jalissa, Anthony, Brittney, Ami-El and Ya-El; and great-grandchildren, Angel, Elijah and Ayden.
