 FEB. 1 TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE LIBRARY DAY at Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  How well does your family know the library? Find out as you play “Library I Spy” together. Visit the Children’s Help Desk on that day only to get a game board and stickers while supplies last. No registration required.

FEB. 1 LEARN HOW TO OUTSMART YOUR SMARTPHONE at Red Bank Public Library, 84 W. Front St., Red Bank, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Smartphones are everywhere, but using them can be daunting since they are much more than just a phone. This free class, with librarian Erik Stevenson, will cover Android phones and Apple iPhones, smartphone terminology, and choosing a smartphone plan. FEB. 3, 10, 17 and 24 MOTHER TO MOTHER SUPPORT GROUP at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., Long Branch, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join new mothers to talk about what you are experiencing.  Discussions, led by a registered nurse, will include topics such as infant behavior, feeding, sleeping patterns and crying, as well as recovering from childbirth.
