The Tuscan-inspired restaurant offers views of the Atlantic Ocean and Shrewsbury River along with its selection of house wines chosen specifically to complement the menu of seasonally inspired Tuscan specialties.
In addition, Ama’s private dining room is now complete with some very special amenities such as ocean views, a hand-painted mural and a wood-burning fireplace.
Wine lovers can enjoy a discount on Tuesday nights when guests at Ama will receive 20 percent off the price of selected bottles from the restaurant’s extensive cellar of hand-selected Italian boutique varieties. All house wines by the glass will be served on Wednesdays for half the regular price at the bar. The party continues from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, when the price of all specialty cocktails served at the bar will be reduced to $7. The wine and drink specials on Sundays include $3 draft beers at the bar and a corkage-fee waiver throughout the restaurant.
Sundays at Ama also features a prix fixe, three-course menu for $32 or $38, including a glass of house wine.
Guests looking for a place to celebrate an occasion or gather for a social gathering or business event can take advantage of Ama’s one-of-a-kind private dining room, which features a cozy, wood-burning fireplace that’s perfect for taking the chill out of a winter’s day. The dining room also offers unique views – to the east, the Atlantic Ocean stretches to the horizon, and to the west, a hand-painted mural by local artist Jim Fitzmaurice of a picturesque Tuscan landscape that captures the warmth and joy of an Italian hillside. The private dining room and fireplace are also available for dining on nights when there is no party scheduled.
Ama also offers convenient valet service that will usher you in quickly upon arrival and valet attendants will be sure to warm up your vehicle before your departure.
