‘American Stare’ Continues at N.J. Repertory Company

LONG BRANCH – A production of American Stare, written by Tony Glazer and directed by Evan Bergman, continues through July 22 at the New Jersey Repertory Company.
American Stare is comedic piece centered around stories of a widow and her dog, a disabled accused child-predator, a couple and their teenage daughter and their attempts to preserve their South Florida trailer park community from corporate influences.
Cast members include Summer Crockett Moore, Becca Ballenger, Trey Gibbons, Brad Holbrook, Leeane Hutchison and Shane Patrick Kearns. Show times are 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; 3 and 8 p.m. Saturdays; and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased by calling 732-229-3166 or online at njrep.org. Discounted tickets are available to full-time students, seniors and groups of 10 or more but are not valid for Saturday performances.
