Alexander Amodio III passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 18th at his home in Red Bank. Alex was 22. He attended St. Leo the Great and Middletown South High School. He will always be remembered for his love of art, compassion, kindness, big hugs and shining smile. Alex’s struggles have ended.

He is finally at peace. Heaven has gained an angel and he will be waiting to greet us all one day.

Alex is survived by and will be deeply missed by his mother Kelly Crawford and her husband John, his father Alexander Jr. and his wife Melissa, his brothers Michael and Vincenzo, his sisters Rachael and Maisie, grandparents Susan Villa Garretson, Alexander Sr. and Maria Amodio. Also a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him and will miss him dearly.

There will be a private viewing, for immediate family only, at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, on Tuesday, May 23 from 2 p.m to 4 p.m.
