‘An Afternoon with Danny Kaye’ at the Jewish Heritage Museum

FREEHOLD – The Jewish Heritage Museum will present “An Afternoon with Danny Kaye” as it tells the story of his rise from improvisational comedian to international film star on Sunday, Sept. 29, at the 310 Mounts Corner Drive museum.
The 2 p.m. performance is sold out. Tickets are available for the 5 p.m. show. Admission is $20 for members, $25 for nonmembers and $22 each for groups of 10 or more.
The performance, featuring award winning actor Brian Childers, celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary performer in a high-energy performance. Attendees will hear many of his hit songs including “Tchaikovsky,” “Minnie the Moocher” and “Anatole of Paris.”
Childers received the 2002 Helen Hayes Award for outstanding leading actor in a musical for his uncanny and entertaining performance as celebrated singer, dancer, actor and comedian Danny Kaye in Danny and Sylvia: A Musical Love Story.
