Satchel Ryan, left, graduated last month from the Navy Officers Candidate School in Newport, R.I. The son of Denis and Stella Ryan of Rumson, he graduated in 2006 from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School. He recently graduated cum laude from Dickinson University and competed on the swim team for four years. He will be stationed initially in Newport.
