Lucille P. Anthony, 96, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away on Saturday, October 7 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Highlands, Mrs. Anthony was a lifelong resident of Highlands. She moved to Atlantic Highlands a few years ago but her heart always belonged in the hills of Highlands.
Lucille was retired from Fort Monmouth CECOM in 1987, having worked as a key punch operator. She was a parishioner of OLPH Church in Highlands and was an active volunteer at the St. Jude Thrift Shop.
Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Babe” Anthony in 1997. She is survived by her children, Mary Lou of Atlantic Highlands, Roberta Pandolfo and her husband Gerard of Atlantic Highlands, Patricia Giebler and her husband Scott of Highlands, Joseph of Atlantic Highlands, Edward and his wife Karen of Scituate, Massachusetts, and James of Asbury Park; grandchildren, Scott, Greg and Lucy Giebler, Julie Giebler Lambelet, Edward and Catherine Pandolfo, Kyle Anthony, Harrison and Madelyn Anthony; and two great-grandchildren due in November.
