ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – The Atlantic Highlands Arts Council and Historical Society will present a free concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Strauss Mansion, 27 Prospect Circle.

Mary McCrink, above, will perform along with Cranston Dean and Max Carmichael during a concert 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, to benefit the food pantry to help those impacted by Super Storm Sandy.

Admission will be a donation by cash or check at the door to the food pantry to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. Donations of nonperishable food items, paper goods, cleaning products and paper diapers will also be accepted. Checks should be made out to the Area Association of Community Churches Food Pantry.
This Living Room Concert will feature folk, roots, and original songs performed by the popular shore-area vocalist Mary McCrink “The Lone Mare,” and by rising star Cranston Dean, accompanied by Max Carmichael on the banjo.
Musicians are invited to bring their instruments for a short jam session with the performers following the concert.
McCrink, a vocalist, songwriter, musician and poet, has many fans at the Jersey Shore. She has performed with her own band, and with Tim McLoone’s Holiday Express, The Jazz Lobsters, and others at venues from the Count Basie Theatre to the Sandy Hook beach, and at popular clubs throughout the area.
Dean returns to Atlantic Highlands with Carmichael on banjo for his first hometown concert. Dean has made a name for himself in Philadelphia and tours throughout the northeast.
