More than 20 restaurants to participate in spring, summer tastings

RED BANK – Red Bank Flavour and Red Bank RiverCenter have announced plans for the town’s annual Red Bank Food and Wine Walk.
The monthly culinary tour will kick off May 20 with wine and food tastings available at more than 20 participating venues.
“Red Bank RiverCenter started the Food and Wine Walk in the summer of 2010,” said Nancy Adams, RiverCenter’s executive director. “The event proved to be a great way for people to finish their summer weekend strolling Red Bank’s historic downtown and sampling the food and drink of our great restaurants.”
Slated for the third Sunday of every month from May to August, the Red Bank Food and Wine Walk encourages food enthusiasts throughout the region to enjoy samplings of the town’s unique culinary offerings. From fine wines and eclectic desserts to tapas, sushi and more, the diverse selection offered at each participating venue will keep guests’ taste buds tempted.
“The Red Bank Food and Wine Walk is made possible by the borough’s diverse restaurant community,” said Valerie Aufiero, owner of Front Street Trattoria. “We are thrilled proprietors can collaborate on events like this. It is a great way to raise awareness of Red Bank’s culinary offerings, and gives foodies a chance to experience all of Red Bank’s flavors.”
Venues participating in the Red Bank Food and Wine Walk include Cupcake Magician, Danny’s Grill & Wine Bar, Dish, Front Street Trattoria, Gaetano’s, La Pastaria, Melting Pot, New Corner Italian Restaurant, Pazzo, Readies Café, red Restaurant & Lounge, Siam Garden, Sugarush a Sweet Experience, Taste, Teak, The Bistro at Red Bank, The Cheese Cave, The Downtown, Tommy’s Coal Fired Pizza and Zebu Forno.
