SEA BRIGHT – Borough resident Jamie Turner, M.Ed PCC, the less stress business coach, is sharing her years of coaching and leadership expertise with the launch of her first book, “Less Stress Business: A Guide for Hiring, Coaching, and Leading Great Employees.”
From business executives and entrepreneurs to managers and individuals, Turner’s book guides readers through the varied challenges of leadership to uncover sources of business stress and grow personal power.
“Less Stress Business” encourages readers to confront work-related stresses head-on to develop important leadership tools that will allow their businesses to flourish. At the core of Turner’s philosophy are the seven less-stress guidelines, which include: Say yes to less stress; aspire higher when you hire; keep talking when the honeymoon is over; open the door to feedback; ready, aim, fire that employee; delegate or die trying; and confront dysfunction so your team can function.
Individuals often find adapting these strategies results in financial growth and a better understanding of how to address important issues, which will ultimately lead to a positive, stress-free work environment.
“I have had the privilege of working with an amazing group of entrepreneurs and leaders who contributed to ‘Less Stress Business.’ The real-life situations documented in my book will not only resonate with readers, but their successes will inspire them,” Turner said.  “After spending years helping clients reach their personal and professional goals, I felt compelled to share my less-stress philosophy with readers everywhere.”
Implementing her experiences as a school principal and business coach, Turner has worked with many individuals to facilitate successful leadership practices. By identifying and reducing core business stresses, clients are free to lead with a calmer presence and clearer focus. An additional outcome is the creation of positive work atmospheres, which facilitates employee growth and development, and allows everyone in an organization to work to be the best they can be.
