Mildred Babkewicz, 96, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 16, at Bayshore Healthcare Center in Holmdel. She was born Mildred Seibold on March 3, 1920 in Manhattan, New York, where she grew up. In 1942, she and her husband, Edward Babkewicz were married and began their life together.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gustave and Julia (Matthews) Seibold, her beloved husband, Edward J. Babkewicz, her daughter, Julia McIntosh, and her son-in-law, Martin Ariemma. Mildred is survived by her loving daughters, Ruth Carey and her husband William of Nanuet, New York, Mildred Ariemma of Boonton; her cherished grandchildren, Edward McIntosh, Kelly Ann McDougal, James McIntosh, Christine Griggs, Jennifer Campanella, Christopher Ariemma and Vincent Ariemma; and her adored great-grandchildren, James, Kyle, Matthew, Dylan, Nicholas, Martin, Ryan, and Reagan. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
