Charles J. Bolin Jr., 64, of Port Monmouth, died on May 9 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Long Branch and lived in Port Monmouth for the past 35 years. Chuck worked for JCP&L for 44 years, last as a chief lineman. He was a longtime dedicated member of the Middletown Elks Lodge2179, the Goodfellas Social Club in West Keansburg, Middletown First Aid, and a lifetime member of the East Keansburg Fire Company No. 5.

Charles was predeceased by his mother, Julie Travers Bolin; and a brother, Randy Bolin both in 2005. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Adrianne P. Bolin (nee Bellini); his son, CJ Bolin; his two daughters, Renee (Sean) Kroeper and Jennifer Jeleniewski (John Dressler); his granddaughters, Madelyn and Amanda; his father, Charles J. Bolin Sr.; his four sisters, Ann (Dominick) Donatelli, Julie (Bill) Fehlhaber, Chrys (Jeff) Cady, and Mary Pat Bolin; his two brothers, John (Lisa) Bolin and Larry (Peggy) Bolin; his sister-in-law, Monica Bolin; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Thursday, May 12 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catherine Labourè Church, 110 Bray Ave., N. Middletown. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donation may be made in Chuck’s name to the Middletown Elks Lodge 2179.
