FAIR HAVEN – River Road Books is sponsoring a benefit book signing at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Nauvoo Grill Club.
The evening will benefit Life Guard Ecumenical Foundation, which is raising funds for the family of Molly Richards, a 2-year-old borough girl who has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
Tim Sullivan, a borough resident, is author of “Imus, Mike and the Mad Dog, & Doris from Rego Park: The Groundbreaking History of WFAN.” He will be signing the book, his second, and also will have copies of his initial offering, “Battle on the Hudson: The Devils, the Rangers, and the NHL’s Greatest Series Ever,” available.
Sullivan and his family will make a donation to the foundation for every book sold.
The evening also will feature John Amabile, the lead singer of The Haven.
Those planning to attend are asked to call or email River Road Books to RSVP and let store staff how many books they will be securing.
River Road Books is located at 759 River Road and can be reached at 732-747-9455 or by emailing riverroadvooks@verizon.net.
Additional information is available on the store’s website at www.riverroadbooks.net.
Those who wish to donated directly to Life Guard Ecumenical Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, during the event may do so. Cash and checks will be accepted.
