Borough of Rumson Honors Veterans

RUMSON – Veterans and members of the community were on hand Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Victory Park for a ceremony to honor those who have served our are serving our country.

Daniel J. Edwards offered introductory remarks, followed by the posting of the colors by Rumson’s Boys Scout Troop 201. The invocation was given by Rabbi Jeff Sultar of Congregation B’nai Israel. “The Star-Spangled Banner” was sung by Owen Doherty of the Boys Scout Troop 201. The guest speaker was  Mike Lilley.
