Bruce A. Bradley Sr., 84, of Monmouth Beach, died on Thursday, November 9 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Bruce was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of Monmouth Beach.
He graduated from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts and attended Brown University.
Bruce was a Monmouth Beach commissioner for 19 years and was a 54-year member of the Monmouth Beach Fire Department. He was also a longtime member of the Monmouth Beach Board of Education and the Monmouth Beach Recreation Department. Bruce was a supervisor at Kiely Construction for 42 years, retiring 20 years ago. Bruce was a parishioner of Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach.
He was predeceased by his sister, Carol Pierson. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Rita Ferrugiaro Bradley; two sons, Bruce Bradley Jr. and his wife Mary Ann and Keith Bradley and his wife Bari; two daughters, Debra Connor and her husband William and Donna West and her husband Peter; his sister, Beverly McClave; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
