Barbara Anne (Bobby Anne) Brower, 82, of Shrewsbury, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 18 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation in Shrewsbury. She was a lifelong resident of Red Bank until Meridian relocated to Shrewsbury.

She graduated from Red Bank High School in 1951 and remained a staunch supporter of the Buccaneers football team all of her life. She had a great talent for all types of needlework and enjoyed giving handmade gifts of love to family and friends. Barbara also loved the beach and spent her summers enjoying the sands of Sea Bright. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Red Bank and sang in the choir for many years. She was employed by the Borough of Red Bank as an executive secretar y in the Building Depar tment until her retirement.

She was predeceased by her parents, Anna Butcher Brower and F. Everett Brower. She is survived by many loving cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery.
