Buntzen to Exhibit Collages at the AH Arts Council

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – Collage artist Richard Buntzen will present a solo exhibition Sept. 21 to Oct. 19 at the Arts Council Gallery in the second floor of the Finelines Building, 21 W. Lincoln Ave. An opening reception will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21.
Buntzen’s use of fragments of black-and-white and color newsprint are outstanding examples of creative design. He completed his Master of Art and Master of Fine Arts degrees at New Jersey City University in Jersey City. He is a member of the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council.
A talk and demonstration by the artist will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, and a panel discussion, “What a Good Idea: Innovative Art,” will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. Exhibit hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Exhibit and programs are free and open to the public at the Arts Council Gallery.
