CoBank Donates $2,500 to Monmouth Conservation Foundation
MIDDLETOWN – The Monmouth Conservation Foundation, which preserves and protects farms, wetlands, outstanding vistas and woodlands, has received a donation of $2,500 from CoBank on behalf of John J. Breen, a member of the cooperative bank’s board of directors.
Breen is a longtime resident of Monmouth County and an ongoing supporter of the conservation foundation’s efforts.
The foundation is celebrating 35 years of protecting Monmouth County’s open space and natural resources, and has preserved more than 6,500 acres since its founding in 1977. Some of the land has been transformed into parks or other recreational areas.
“It is more critical than ever to protect our natural resources from encroaching development,” said William Kastning, executive director of the foundation. “CoBank’s donation will help us move forward with our mission of acquiring and preserving land so that it can be enjoyed for generations to come.”
“The acreage that the foundation works to save is more than trees and earth; it’s a legacy of those who have made this county what it is today,” Breen aid. “I am pleased that CoBank has provided funding to save our historic and important resources.”
The contribution is part of CoBank’s corporate giving program, which allows employees and board members to direct bank donations to their choice of nonprofit organizations and programs. Through the program, CoBank donated more than $1.2 million last year to benefit local communities where its employees and directors live and work.

Celebrity Photographer Partners with Resources Real Estate

RED BANK – When a photographer is working with a real estate agent, the focus is usually on a beautiful home, a spectacular view or maybe a remodeled kitchen. Rarely is the camera pointed toward the agent themselves.
All that recently changed when Red Bank icon Danny Sanchez conducted a photo shoot of Resources Real Estate’s roster of agents from its Rumson and Monmouth Beach offices. Sanchez, a well-known portrait photographer in the New York/New Jersey metro area, has photographed many notable celebrities, including Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi, over the course of his career. So has real estate gone rock ‘n’ roll?
“Resources Real Estate is in the midst of our re-branding effort,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, broker and senior partner. “We have a new logo, new ad campaign, and we thought it was important to communicate that through our agent images as well. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results – Danny is amazing.”
Working one-on-one with Resources’ agents in his Red Bank studio, Sanchez worked to create a professional yet relaxed look.
“As a local, independent agency, we’ve always felt that Resources Real Estate offers something better than the national and franchised brokerages,” said Thomas McCormack, broker and managing partner. “We’re professional but not ‘corporate’ and Danny captured that extremely well. The agents are thrilled with the results.”
The new agent photos will be featured in upcoming advertising as well as on the company’s website.
“Resources enjoys partnering with great people and local businesses,” said Ozar-Diakon. “And we hope to continue our collaboration with Danny in the future.”
Resources Real Estate is a full-service independent residential brokerage opened by Ozar-Diakon in 2000. McCormack, with the company since 2002, joined her as a partner in 2010. Resources Real Estate is located at 112 East River Road in Rumson, 36 Beach Road in Monmouth Beach, and 4A West Front St. in Red Bank,  For more local real estate information or to inquire about a career in real estate, call 732-212-0440 or visit resourcesrealestate.com.
