RED BANK – Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Central Jersey – a member of the VNA Health Group and a Medicare/Medicaid-certified provider of home health, hospice and community-based services – recently received a $5,000 boost from The Provident Bank Foundation.
The grant supported various healthcare services offered by VNA of Central Jersey, such as post-operative nursing care, rehabilitation therapy, specialized home infusion therapy and home hospice care for individuals who would not otherwise have access to them.
“Generous funding like this enables VNA Health to sustain its mission to care for those most vulnerable at home and in the community,” said Steven H. Landers, president and CEO of VNA Health Group. “We’re proud to partner with The Provident Bank Foundation as part of our ongoing commitment to build healthier communities.”
According to its website, each day more than 1,500 certified home health aides, therapists, social workers and visiting nurses from the VNA Health Group bring their skilled care and compassion in equal measure directly to patients’ homes and communities in New Jersey.
“We are proud to be able to support the VNA of Central Jersey in providing quality home care and hospice programs in our communities,” said Kendall Warsaw, executive director of The Provident Bank Foundation. “Sometimes caring for yourself is not an easy task or even possible.
