Resources Real Estate accepts Corporate Humanitarian Award
 
RUMSON – Carolynn Diakon, broker-senior partner, and Resources Real Estate is pleased to announce that they have been chosen to receive the American Red Cross Clara Barton Humani­tarian Award.

The American Red Cross nominated Carolynn for this award because of her longstanding commitment to the community and many nonprofit organizations such as Prevention First, the Mon­mouth County Mental Health Association, and countless others just to name a few.
“I am personally honored that the American Red Cross nominated me and my office for this award,” said Diakon. ‘This organization is truly about helping people in need, as was demonstrated through their relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.”

This year’s honorary chairman of the event is comedian Jon Stewart, Host of The Daily Show. The annual gala is being held on Saturday April 6, at the Spring Lake Golf Club.

Groundbreaking for Medical Arts Building Slated
 
MIDDLETOWN – BBMK Developers, LLC, has scheduled a groundbreaking ceremony at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, for its new medical arts building.

Demolition of the current buildings is under way. The new facility will feature a three-story glass-enclosed atrium staircase with professionally decorated common areas. It will be a premier, modern class-A office space with two large suites on each of the three floors.
 
Nominations Being Sought for Engineering Awards
 
The New Jersey Alliance for Action is calling on its members to submit nominations for a new program. The Distinguished Engineering Awards program will focus on and honor innovative and outstanding engineering accomplishments.
Honorees will be selected based on project uniqueness and positive impact on New Jersey’s economy and environment. Companies winning awards will be recognized at a special event.
