OceanFirst Names Two Executive Vice Presidents
TOMS RIVER – OceanFirst Financial Corp., the holding company for OceanFirst Bank, has announced two executive vice president appointments. Joseph R. Iantosca and Joseph J. Lebel III. The appointments were made by the bank’s board of directors.

Garbarino, chairman and chief executive officer. “Individually, Joe Iantosca and Joe Lebel have demonstrated a commitment to the success of our company along with a dedication to our future growth and mission of building long-term shareholder value.”
Iantosca, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, will continue to be responsible for the delivery of essential services such as: retail customer services, loan servicing, marketing, information technology, facilities management and expansion. These areas provide the infrastructure that supports the company’s growth strategies.
Iantosca joined OceanFirst Bank in February 2004 as senior vice president and chief administrative officer and was appointed first senior vice president in May 2007.
Lebel, executive vice president and chief lending officer, will continue to be responsible for the credit culture of the company, leading the expansion of commercial, small business, residential and consumer borrowing relationships.
Lebel has demonstrated extraordinary leadership since joining the bank in April 2006 as senior vice president of commercial lending. He was appointed first senior vice president and chief lending officer in May 2007. He has been a respected lender in the Central New Jersey market for more than 28 years and during his tenure at OceanFirst has expanded the bank’s lending capabilities to meet the challenges of the highly competitive lending environment.

Three-Day Retirement Planning Course Slated at BCC
LINCROFT – The ABCs of Retirement Planning, a three-day course, is being offered at Brookdale Community College through the Business and Community Development – Lifelong Learning at 765 Newman Springs Road.
The course will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 11, June 18 and 25. The $59 fee includes all materials and a 140-page workbook. There is no fee for a spouse to attend.
The course was developed for people age 50 and older who would like to have an alternative to the typical “Wall Street myths” of financial planning. The objectives of the course provide people with the tools, insight and proven strategies to build a retirement plan that achieves their goals.
Those attending will learn easy-to-understand strategies on how to pay less in taxes, manage investment risks and create the income stream they desire. Upon completion, they will have the confidence needed to put their retirement plan into action.

FH Rec Partners with RTC Training for Kids’ Running Camp
FAIR HAVEN – This summer RTC Training, in partnership with Fair Haven Recreation, is returning with its weeklong and six-week Cool Runners Fitness Camps for boys and girls entering kindergarten through 8th grades.
The weeklong camp will be held 8:30 to 10 a.m. July 8 -12. The six-week program will be held on consecutive Tuesday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. July 23 and 30 and Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at Fair Haven Fields.
The cost for each camp is $95 per child with a $20 savings when registering for both camps at the same time.
Cool Runners Fitness Camp is designed to provide a fun, positive environment for all campers while developing fitness, self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Each day, campers will participate in warm-up and cool-down sessions, drills, fitness games, races, and running discussions. The camp is offered by Robert Cavanaugh, director of RTC Training, and is open to everyone.

2013 Osprey Awards Committee Seeks Nominations
The Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce has presented community service, business excellence, chamber service and youth awards for more than 25 years to individuals, companies, and organizations that have made significant contributions to the southern Monmouth area.
The organization is reaching out to chamber members for assistance in identifying worthy recipients of the honor and is asking that they take a few minutes and let the chamber know of any individuals, companies, or organizations which they believe should be candidates for the 2013 awards.
Nominations should be forwarded by Monday, June 3. Members should feel free to submit as many nominations as they would like for each award.
This year’s winners will be selected by the 2013 Osprey Committee. The winners will be announced prior to the 2013 Osprey Awards Cocktail Reception on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Jumping Brook Country Club, Neptune.
Cheslock Joins Shrewsbury Real Estate Firm
SHREWSBURY – Amanda Cheslock has joined Brokers 3 Realtors at 675 Broad St. Cheslock, a lifelong resident of Little Silver, chose to put down her own roots as a young adult with the purchase of a fixer-upper. Since then, she has learned many lessons about home ownership including the challenges and gratifications that come with taking on an older home. She has been able to let her love of design and architecture take shape through the renovation. Cheslock comes to Brokers 3 Realtors after a decision to leave the New York commute behind her and apply the promotional skills she cultivated during her 12 years in the corporate communications field to the real estate business. In her public relations career, Cheslock developed and executed media campaigns for public and privately held companies in all growth phases.
Her interest in shaping images goes back further to include the positioning of brands through time spent in advertising and the positioning of public places as destinations through her experience as a retail coordinator for Red Bank’s Special Improvement District. She also was an associate for a firm working to spur development in under-performing downtown and retail corridors in various cities throughout New Jersey and New York.
An English major who loves to write and read, Cheslock is happiest gardening, hiking the Monmouth County parks with her dog and spending time with her husband.
