Circle BMW Sponsors NJ Auto Retailers Run For The Warriors®
EATONTOWN – Circle BMW has joined dealerships across the state in support of the inaugural New Jersey Auto Retailers Run For The Warriors®, a race that will both honor the sacrifices of the military and raise funds to support the needs of today’s wounded veterans and their families.
This unique road race will take place on Sunday, Sept. 22, at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial in Holmdel. Through the sponsorship, Circle BMW is directly supporting programs that provide a full cycle of care to wounded service members, their families and families of the fallen.
“Today, veterans face new challenges as they deal with both physical and psychological injuries,” said Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® president. “We are thankful that corporations, owned by patriotic, thankful Americans, are leading the charge in supporting the recovery of our service members and military families.”
Circle BMW President Tom DeFelice, said, “Supporting organizations such as Hope for the Warriors is one small way that we can show our heartfelt gratitude to the men and women who serve our country, their families and the sacrifices they endure to ensure our safety and freedom.”
He added, “Circle BMW is proud to lend support to this inaugural fundraiser and incredibly worthwhile organization.”
This unique road race will take place at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial. The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and the Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center are located within sight of each other near the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. FAIR HAVEN – Booskerdoo Fresh Roasted Coffee Co., the Monmouth Beach-based micro coffee roaster, will hold an official grand opening on Friday, Aug. 30, of the company’s second location at 793 River Road with a free coffee day.
The new shop, which has already opened for business, has been conducting brisk business, serving the freshly roasted and fresh pastry items baked on the premises.
Booskerdoo’s owners and founders James and Amelia Caverly are celebrating by buying a 10 oz. cup of drip coffee for everyone who comes in to the Fair Haven location between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Ten ounce cappuccinos and lattes, made from Booskerdoo’s Dancing Goat Espresso Blend, will be offered for the special price of $1.
The Caverlys took over the space, where Java Stop was formerly located, in mid-January and renovated the 80-year-old building in Fair Haven’s historic district.
“We are extremely excited to be a member of beautiful Fair Haven and its surrounding river communities,” says Roastmaster James Caverly.
Head baker Amelia Caverly added, “Free coffee day is our way of saying thank you for the great reception so far, and to invite everyone to come check out this space that we know everyone will enjoy.”
Booskerdoo coffee roasts daily from its café in Monmouth Beach, never selling any beans past its one-week flavor peak. “Great coffee should never sit in a warehouse, which is why we don’t use one,” James Caverly said.
