United Teletech Financial donates More than $10K

TINTON FALLS – Four charities will receive donations from United Teletech Financial (UTF) for their participation in UTF’s Million Dollar Community Challenge (MDCC).
The charities involved are: The Arc of Monmouth; Clean Ocean Action; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth & Middlesex Counties; and The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
“We want to do our part to help our local nonprofits continue to live out their missions. These groups do great work in our community and we’re excited to be able to donate for the third year in a row,” said Leo R. Ardine, president/CEO of UTF.
UTF’s MDCC is an annual campaign that strives to save the community $1 million in interest expense, while benefiting local charities. This year’s campaign saved members more than $1.03 million in interest expense by refinancing higher interest loans that had been held at other institutions. Charities will receive more than $10,000 in donations from UTF.
“The Million Dollar Community Challenge is great example of how when we help each other, we can make a big difference in the community. Through MDCC our members prospered by saving money in interest and our partner charities will also benefit. As a community-based financial institution, this is what it’s all about,” Ardine said.
For more information on the MDCC, visit JerseySaves.org. For information on UTF’s financial services, stop by any of its branches, visit utfinancial.org or call 866-GO-ALL-EARS.
