Anthony DiMeglio, owner of DiMeglio Associates, a Middletown-based insurance company, was named chairman of the advisory council of the Red Bank Unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County. DiMeglio has been a member of the council since its inception in 2010.
The Northern Monmouth County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will host a discussion about “Women and Finance” at 7 p.m. April 2 at Kensington Court, 864 Shrewsbury Ave., Tinton Falls.
Branch member Wendy Murphy, a certified financial planner and adviser to women and families, will be guest speaker. All are welcome.

Michael Smith, a sales associate in the Middletown office of Weichert Realtors, led the region in resale listings in the month of February.

Justine Galdorise-Alfano joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Holmdel/Colts Neck as a sales associate. A Middletown resident, Galdorise-Alfano is an award-winning representative for regional homebuyers and sellers. She won the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence Award at the Bronze Level every year since 2008. She was Rookie of the Year in 2008 and top salesperson in 2010 at a competing brokerage in Middletown. Prior to earning her real estate license, Galdorise-Alfano managed a construction business and gained experience with custom, rehabilitated and new construction projects in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
