Beach Jewelry Studio Offers Workshop
ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – Sea Ginny’s Beach Jewelry/Silver Lining Studio, a new storefront studio and workshop, is holding a Monday Mix at 10 a.m. March 3.
The event will feature jewelry artist Ginny Pointon, who will talk about her craft and offer an on-site demonstration of handcrafted jewelry being made.
Pointon’s husband Bill, “Bill the Drill,” will show his unique drilling process for turning beach treasures into wearable art. Participation is limited and registration is required and may be completed by calling the Atlantic Highlands Library at 732-291-1956.
Sea Ginny’s features handcrafted jewelry with accents on surf-tumbled sea glass, 99 percent fine silver, precious metal clay (PMC) and handcrafted pottery pieces. All jewelry creations are original and hand-built from scratch.
Silver Lining Studios, at the same location, offers classes by Pointon for attendees to learn about the transformation of PMC to fine silver jewelry. Beach/sea glass drilling lessons are also available. Visitors can have their sea treasures drilled and fashioned into custom pieces, or simply learn to drill, a one-of-a-kind drilling setup. All lessons are one-on-one with very reasonable pricing.
The store/studio, located at 77 Center Ave., is open seven days a week.
Pointon also offers studio time for experienced crafters and features a kiln on premises for craft firings.

Webb joins Resources Real Estate, Rumson
RUMSON – Resources Real Estate welcomes Andrew Webb to the company as a new sales associate in the Rumson office.

JACKSON – Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey’s largest seasonal employer and the largest employer in Ocean County, is hiring 4,000 employees, including 200 interns for the 2014 season.

Two River Bancorp Extends Share Repurchase Program
TINTON FALLS – Two River Bancorp, the parent company of Two River Community Bank, has announced that its board of directors approved an extension through Dec. 31 of the company’s share repurchase program.
In extending the repurchase program, the board also reset the company’s repurchase authority so that it may now spend an additional $2 million on the repurchase of stock without any aggregate share limit. Previously, the repurchase program was limited to the repurchase of up to 5 percent of the company’s outstanding shares, in addition to having an aggregate spending limit of $2.2 million. To date, the company has repurchased approximately 77,112 shares and spent $565,530.
“The extension of our share repurchase program reflects the company’s continued commitment to enhance value for our shareholders,” said William D. Moss, president and chief executive officer. “This action reaffirms the confidence we have in the company’s financial strength and our belief that the current market value of the company’s stock is not reflective of the company’s value.”
The repurchase program will continue after the blackout period ends following the release of the company’s results of operations for the period that ended on Dec. 31, 2013, and until the earlier of the completion of the repurchase or Dec. 31, 2014.
Under the repurchase program, repurchases are made from time to time by the company in the open market as conditions allow, or in privately negotiated transactions.
