Philomena’s Restaurant, 344 Ocean Ave., Sea Bright, will hold a grand opening of Club Allure at 10 p.m. Nov. 11. Lynn A. Conover

The Curchin Group, LLC, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, New Jersey, announced today that Lynn A. Edward C. Gibbon was admitted to Rosenberg and Fecci Consulting LLC, Fair Haven, as a partner. Gibbon joined the firm in 2003 as a field examination manager and director of human resources. Prior to joining Rosenberg and Fecci he has director of finance for a business unit at Telcordia Technologies and CFO of a software development company acquired by Telcordia. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and holds and MBA in finance from the University of Rhode Island.

Effort To Encourage, Empower Women At Maser Consulting

Nina’s Waffles & Sweets, 15 White Street, Red Bank, held a grand opening Wednesday. Owner and restaurateur Louis Zanias will feature Belgium waffles based on the original Liege waffle. Liege waffles are made from dough rather than a traditional batter. The recipe uses pearl sugar from Belgium and when cooked, the sugar caramelizes so the waffle is amazingly sweet and dense. Zanias, was born in Greece and grew up in Brussels, Belgium. He owns two restaurants located in New Hope, Pa., Karla’s and Zoubi. Nina’s Waffles has two other locations in Seaside Park and Stockton. Michael Loff will manage the Red Bank store.
