Chelsea & Friends Stage Fundraiser for Lunch Break

RED BANK – Chelsea Palermo and Friends will present a special evening Saturday, June 22, to benefit Lunch Break, the soup kitchen and pantry that serves the greater Red Bank area.
Palermo, a graduate of the Red Bank Region al Performing Arts Academy, is well known as a singer of jazz, pop and standards who has performed at The Count Basie Theatre, Pazzo, McLoone’s restaurants, Red Bank Jazz Festivals and Red Bank Street Life. She also has opened for George Benson, Tony Bennett and Chris Botti.
Lunch Break is celebrating 30 years and thriving. As Gwendolyn Love, executive director said, “Ours is a history that spans three decades, deep and wide with compassion, stewardship, efficiency and service.”
As one of Lunch Break’s more than 2,000 dedicated volunteers, Palermo plans the performance as a fundraising event and a way to give back to her community.
Join Chelsea and her musician friends at The Red Bank Women’s Club, 164 Broad St., from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 22. A $10 minimum donation is re quested at the door, no tickets are required. Light snacks will be served, and you may BYOB.
Drop in anytime between 7 and 10 p.m. and enjoy.
