Courtney Holton and Daniel Fogarty

Courtney Harrison Holton and Daniel Fogarty have happily sent word of their engagement from Colorado. The couple met there and both live and work in Boulder. Courtney grew up in Manhattan and Dan was raised in Westchester, New York.
Courtney is the daughter of Virginia “Ginger” Giersch Holton and Henry Holton of Manhattan and Point Lookout, New York. She graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego where she was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon-Economics Honor Society. She was co-president and captain of the Women’s Club Lacrosse team and named to the Western Women’s Lacrosse League Division 1 All-League 2nd Team. Courtney is a member of the Avery Brewing Company Accounting Department in Boulder.
Dan is the son of Tom and Abbe Fogarty of Naples, Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in Government/Politics and Business Management, where he also played lacrosse. Dan is a Marketing Technology Analyst with the Kapost Company in Boulder.
Courtney is the niece of Janet Giersch of Little Silver and the only grandchild of the late Carl and Virginia Harrison Giersch, also of Little Silver. In 1976, her grandmother, “Ginny” Giersch, became the first woman elected to office in Little Silver. Courtney is the first generation of the Samuel Dennis/Osborne Harrison family to be born outside of the Little Silver area since 1675.
The couple is planning a June 2018 wedding in Colorado.
