Dangerous Wind Chills Expected into Wednesday

The National Weather Service’s Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
It’s just not cold it’s frigid with a west northwesterly wind that is giving the region wind chill values of 15 degrees below zero to 20 degrees below zero.
The noontime temperature in Red Bank was about 9 degrees.
The weather service forecasts an afternoon high at about 12 degrees.
Tuesday night the temperature will dip to about 5 degrees with Wednesday’s high being near 24. Temperatures are expected to reach above freezing on Thursday with a high of 34.
And to complete this up and down cycle, Saturday is predicted to be around 52 degrees with a chance of rain.
