Booskerdoo Fresh Roasted Coffee Co., located in Monmouth Beach and Fair Haven, is holding a December-long Booskerbooties Diaper Drive.
The drive is being held to coincide with its take-home, made-to-order holiday dessert menu. Ten percent of all holiday menu sales will be donated to the drive.
Owners and operators James and Amelia Caverly had a baby girl in February and immediately saw the need. “Diapers are expensive and are most often not eligible for purchase through government assistance programs,” said Amelia, Booskerdoo’s executive baker.
Those who wish to participate may:
• Bring new, unopened diapers in any quantity through Dec. 31 to either of Booskerdoo’s locations:
36 Beach Road, Monmouth Beach, or 793 River Road, Fair Haven.
• Order holiday sweets from the holiday dessert menu through Dec. 20 and 10 percent of the sale will be used to purchase diapers for the diaper drive.
Holiday orders can be made at either location or by calling 732-383-7196. Customers who bring in diapers will receive a coupon for a free cup of coffee. Monetary donations are also accepted.
